Calvin quit his IT job to make a start in videogames with an idea for a MMO that would do things no other at the time had tried. The entire world was player created. It had an in game visual programing language called Tronics. There were Actor Player Characters who interacted with other players and progressed the world storyline. Some amazing things happened, and I think we even changed peoples lives with it.
It took us 5 years to make, and was an excellent education into programing, art, and game design. Sadly, Neverdaunt was unfinished. There were a few imperfections in the core gameplay, unresolved bugs, and despite our best attempts at optimization, slow loading times. Because of this, we never properly marketed the game and eventually our server costs outweighed our income. We took the servers offline.
